My Success Story

My Success Story

Hi, my name is Toni Paterson, and I’ve been in the beauty and aesthetics industry for over 16 years.

I didn’t enter this industry with a plan to become an educator or to run a training academy. I started where most people do — building my skills, working with clients, learning through experience, and growing my business step by step in the treatment room.

Over the years, I built a strong reputation for my work, my professionalism, and my standards. Clients trusted me, and other professionals began asking questions — not just about treatments, but about how I ran my business, how I worked safely, and how I maintained consistency and results.

Six years ago, I made the decision to open my own training academy.

At the time, there was very little clear guidance in the industry on how to do this properly. I quickly realised that becoming an educator wasn’t just about being good at treatments — it was about structure, compliance, responsibility, and delivering education that genuinely prepared students for the real world.

I took that responsibility seriously.

I spent time building my academy the right way — creating professional course structures, clear learning outcomes, detailed manuals, proper policies, and a supportive learning environment. Everything was built around real experience, not shortcuts or copied templates.

Over the past six years, I’ve successfully run a compliant, profitable training academy, training hundreds of students across beauty and aesthetics. Many of those students have gone on to build their own successful businesses, grow their confidence, and even step into education themselves.

Along the way, I’ve seen the mistakes people make when trying to rush into training:

Not understanding compliance

Using poor-quality manuals

Lacking confidence when teaching

Feeling overwhelmed by accreditation requirements

Being unsure how to support students properly

I’ve also seen how damaging misinformation can be — both for learners and for the reputation of the industry as a whole.

That’s why I decided to take everything I’ve learned over the last 16 years — especially the last six years running an academy — and use it to help other beauty professionals who want to step into education the right way.

Today, I help beauty and aesthetics professionals:

Build their own training academies with confidence

Create structured, professional courses

Understand compliance and accreditation

Feel capable and supported as educators

Avoid costly mistakes and overwhelm

This isn’t theory.

This isn’t guesswork.

This is built from real experience, real challenges, and real success.

If you’re ready to move into education and want guidance from someone who has genuinely done it — I’m here to help you build something you can be proud of.
